Anyone with a Boba 3G carrier?

I was all set to buy an Ergo and then I came across this one.  The reviews seem good.  I like the look too.

Can anyone offer any feedback on this brand?

It's a good carrier as is the Ergo.  It has a taller body than the Ergo which is nice for a bigger baby.  And it has the foot stirrup things to help a larger child get a better seat.  Those are the biggest differences.

I'd suggest trying both on to see which you find the most comfortable on your frame.  Some love one and hate the other based on how they feel on.

Like most buckles, neither is super fantastic for a newborn as it will likely be several months before you LO is able to go legs out in them.  I'd say both are best from about 4-18 months, the Boba being taller will work better for a taller kid although support and safety wise both are fine for an even bigger kid.

About 75% of the ladies in my moms' group own Bobas, and they all rave about them. They are definitely worth trying out with a proper fitting.

I have the Boba 3G and you can use it with a newborn without an insert, which you have to get for the Ergo.  That was the main reason I went with the Boba.  The newborn position is with the legs in, but my baby has been with his legs out since about 10 weeks.  I have not tried the Ergo but I really like the Boba.

I have a boba 2g and want to get the 3g for our next LO. I was trying to decide between the ergo and boba as well, and Friday night I saw the infant insert for the ergo in person for the first time, and that def made up my mind about going with the boba. It just looks way too warm for the climate that I live in. Just something else to think about!

I agree on this!  My baby will be born in January but I can't see that being comfy - seems very bulky.

 

I used a Moby with LO#1 when he was a newborn - much easier.

Got to say, I love my Boba 3G. I own an ERGO (well did, I sold it after my 3rd born) - because I preferred the Boba to it. 

 I love that it can fit a newborn now too, without the use of inserts or anything.
