NIFR - what is the world coming to?

Ok, I am sitting at an airport, having a glass of wine before the flight back to LA in 1 hours time. I have often done this after a LONG week away working interstate. To me, nothing odd at this point.

I just ordered the said red wine, all they had was a Cabernet. Nothing too odd here but annoying anyway for a Pinot drinker.

The wine, a vision in my head would arrive in a shiny glass, stemless or stemmed, don' t really care. BUT in a mug I think has taken things way too far. The wine is in a MUG ladies, OMG! The server thought nothing of it, I am Ina Chili's so OK not the best place to get a fine wine, but at least the vessel should be glass, ideally the correct type of glass.

I have had a week of very fine dining at my companies restaurant, spoiled to death by the exec. Chef but this is still a little low brow for me.

 That is my vent. 

On a good note, brought tickets to Dave Matthew's Band at the Hollywood Bowl next month and can't wait. Squeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!

IVF #1: Did not get to ET, embies all failed PGD (major chromosomal defects)
IVF #2: We have 2 chromosomally perfect embies as a result of PGD (Boy/Girl) 1 failed the thaw (Girl) Transferred 1, yet ended as a c/p
Thought it was the end of our TTC Journey 6/20/2012
SHOCK BFP 9/28/2012: IT'S A BOY! and everything is normal !!!!!!

Little A born 38w 2d on 05/23/13 and is a true miracle for this IF Vet!

    To look at the bright side, maybe you got more ounce-age in the mug???   That is definitely bizarre:-)

    DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!
    First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

    I do agree with Mrs.McIrish, maybe you got more ounces in that mug! :)

    A mug???????  Is the server a moron?  I've had many a wine in an airport chili's, I've always had a glass, well plasitic, but wine glass-ish.  Weird!
