Worried.

Me and my boyfriend been together for 8 months and he already has a child from another woman. We found out we were pregnant in June and we told his daughters mother because we thought she should know. We also told his daughter, she is two years old and she is excited, she talks to my belly and she has been to an ultrasound and has also heard the baby's heart, we don't keep her out of anything. I am worried for when the baby gets here that she is going to be mad and upset because her dad has another baby around. And she is the one who gets all the attention when she is with us. I'm not sure what to expect from her when the baby comes home?

Ive seen this with many of my family members sometimes kids dont take it that well b/c they are not the center of attention anymore, they will be ok. Just have to remember that she WAS there first and that her dad will always be there for her. Once the baby does come I suggest having Father-Daughter day outs. I know this helped in my family. Hope this helps a little. And Good Luck

YES! Perfect advice!

She just needs to understand that just because there is a new baby around, that doesn't mean that she isn't daddy's little girl anymore. It will be hard to juggle the two, but very important as well that she does get one-on-one time regularly.  As long as there is that...things will be just fine, I'd say!
