Gift suggestions for anniversary

Anyone have any great ideas for a gift for my DH for our anniversary?? We typically don't do gifts, we just go out to a nice dinner. However, I know that this year he got me a new Ipod nano, which I told him I wanted for Christmas. So that threw the whole system for a loop cause now I feel like I should get him something too. I think it is stemming from our anniversary last year. We couldn't go out on our anniversary weekend (whatever weekend fell after the actual date) because his mom wasn't available to watch DD. I figured he would at least get me a card or a stupid flower on the actual day but nada....didn't even acknowledge it. We aren't super romantic but I was kinda disappointed. He sensed it and I told him that something...anything!! would have been nice! So now I think he is trying to make up for it. Very sweet of him but now I have to figure out something to get him! help!!!

I always get DH a gift on the theme of the year.  It not always the greatest gift, but I have fun finding something with the theme in mind.

I don't think an ipod is very romantic unless he goes all out and downloads your wedding song and other lovey dovey songs.  I'm not a big fan of having to equal gifts just because. But if you really want to get him something, what does he like? An easy gift for me to get DH is a couple rounds of golf at a good course for him and a buddy.

Me too!  that's why I want to know what anniversary year it is.

Our 9th is at the end of this month and it's pottery/willow for traditional gifts.  I painted DH two coffee mugs at the local pottery place, and I'd love to get him Willow the movie, but it's not on Blu ray yet.  Cheesy, but fun.
