Shoe Stealing Dog Update

Because you all want to know.

When H came home from work he wondered over to their yard and found his missing shoe and apparently more shoes from around the neighborhood. None were torn or chewed, just littered about the yard. 

We have since relocated our shoes from the front porch to the fenced in backyard.

Glad he got his shoe back! How come you keep your shoes out in the yard, though, and not in the house? Just curious. We don't wear our shoes in the house, but we take them off when we enter and leave them by the door (inside).

I'm not sure honestly. It was what H always did. He's a field biologist and his shoes are often wet so he leaves them outside to dry out and just puts them on when he leaves in the morning. The only shoes I had outside were sand caked from a trip to the beach. I've been too lazy to clean them and put them back in the house. 

I usually leave my flip flops by the little table we have near the front door but P is known to be much like the dog and steal the shoes.

That's funny....not only y'alls shoes but, other peoples.  Set up a lost and found in your front yard?

That's funny! Be glad you don't have a chewer, seriously everything gets destroyed in our house by our new dog.

Also we living in Texas I would never leave my shoes outside. A scorpion might set up shop in one lol.
