WTH!? EC-related. Need help!

We started EC at 7 weeks.  DS has done very well with it.   At this point, DS is able to go every time he is cued (for anyone who tries, as well), even if it is just a little bit, to hold it when he is diaper free, to point to the potty when he needs to go, or to simply take himself if it is available. 

We have only been doing diaper-free time at home since June (14 months).  

Here is the problem:  He has started going into the corner behind my chair in his nursery to pee.  Obv. he does this standing up.  I do NOT want to continue to have to clean up pee off the carpet (and that's only when I catch him doing it).  He is only about 2 feet from his potty when he does this.  Any ideas?  I'm unsure how to react, because I don't want any negative associations with potty.  Help!!

This. You need to make an "unpleasant" association with peeing in the corner (or anywhere but the potty or in a diaper).

Have him help clean it up and matter of factotum remind him that pee pee goes in the potty. Also maybe put a puppy pad down there lol.
