My UO- DD still sleeps in our bedroom on my side of the bed in her PNP, and I have no intentions on moving her into her own crib in her room for a few years

I've got one! I'm still in a b!tchy mood so here we go lol
I think people who dress up to go to the grocery store are a little nutty. I certainly don't go looking like a bum but high heels, makeup, parfume etc. COM'ON!
I always thought it looked like an unsafe option anyway, hence why we never owned one. We were looking for a bath seat, and some sales associate at babies r us was trying to tell us everyone uses bumbos for bathing. I looked at it and thought the lack of suction cups for bath use made it more unsafe than just laying DS in the tub as is.
Seriously people. If the seat doesn't have suction cups or straps, don't stick it someplace unsafe. Hell, I think it's unsafe on the floor too, but that's my UO.
Another UO is I hate when people scoff at my cloth diapers. Yeah, it's not something you'd do, but if you haven't tried it, who are you to assume it must be a pain for me? It isn't the hard work naysayers tend to think it is. It's not like I'm scrubbing them by hand on a washboard or drowning DS in layers of cloth.
If my son (once he is old enough to make such requests) asked me to buy him a dress, a pink tutu or a barbie doll, I would.
Likewise, only I have a girl. If she asks for boy clothes/toys/haircut, whatever, I'll do it.
I have to say though that I find it sad that a girl displaying what is considered typically boy behavior is generally more accepted than a boy displaying what is typically considered girl behavior.
Anyway, my UO is that I've become THAT person who wants to say, "oh, you think YOU'RE tired, try having a baby, now THAT is tired"
I never say it though. Instead I just smile and nod. They'll know soon enough (muahahahahaha!)
ETA I just realized that's not really an UO but I've been awake since 4am so you'll have to forgive me. Brainy no worky.

I scoff at people who use fake diapers. Cloth FTW!
If I read one more stupid post like this on Facebook "Jesus died for prostitutes, drug addicts, drug dealers, alcoholics, single mothers, homosexuals, sex addicts, and all the rest of the groups that some people would rather persecute than love. God hates the sin, not the sinner"
WTF (there I used an acronym)???? Since when is being a homosexual or a single mother a "choice" and why are we classifying them as sinners!! THIS mentality is what makes me ashamed to be Christian, and I get irked by it every time! Who are we to judge and what difference does it make someone's sexual preference? Yes, there we go, I judge Christians and I am one, but this mentality that I see almost every day is making me rethink it. Maybe I should have saved it for tomorrow's confessions.
Oh, and why is the "deadbeat father" who left the "single mother" not mentioned in this? And how do you know the father hadn't died? If you were born without legs are you a flvcking sinner too, because you're different than what God intended you to be?

My UO: Maybe I'm missing something important here but who the HELL cares what kind of diapers you use? We are talking about diapers people! I use disposable and cloth seem harder to me but how would I know? I've never even tried cloth just hadn't really thought too much about it. I probably should because it is SO much better for the enviroment but I don't give a rats ASS what kind you use. Why on earth do we judge people for things that don't matter?? Are we really divided by cloth vs. disposable diapers?

Agreed, and it's exactly what my rant was about. I was judged by another mom for using cloth because she thought the laundry was a pain for me. Who cares how I decide to catch my son's poop? You have your methods, I have mine.

Every time I have to use a disposable I DO feel bad. There are 15 billion (yes, billion with a diapers that go into landfills each year, and I feel sad when I contribute. Thankfully, I don't do it that often as we CD. I hope the movement takes hold and that people start trying it. However, I don't judge moms who don't CD. They just don't know any better..hahaha.
