Advice needed

I have a 5 month old.  Her dad hasn't seen her in two months, he was involved for the first month and half of her life then he became absent due to money. We had mediation today  and it didn't go well.  Court guidelines say he is required to pay 1507 a month.  He offered 1000 a month and said he wants no relationship with our daughter.  My atty then asked that pays 1300 with back pay, he said NO.  So now we have to go before a judge. I am so frustrated.   Now it's up to a judge, do judges normally go off the guidelines or am I screwing myself?

As a paralegal this is what I have to say about judges: They are all different, and all favor different sides. They will determine what is fair. The judge will review the filings, the financial affidavits, and determine a fair dollar amount. He can't pay less simply because he wants nothing to do with her. Baby is half his responsibility, whether he likes it or not.
