I just tried to get legal aid and they don't have any assistance right now. What can I do get get the ball rolling on a custody agreement? I don't have money for an attorney.

    My ex the one I like found an atty who would take payments until the retainer cost was met. Then, the atty would reset until my ex had enough money to pay for the court days. He was seeking full legal and physical custody of his youngest son. Called Sole Managing Conservatorship and Primary Parent in Texas

    Look on your state's family court webpage. Many times you do not need representation for family court. You only simply need to go to the court house and fill out the petitions.

    I did the custody, legal separation and divorce without a lawyer. In CA the court houses has  free family services. I would keep looking, it can be time consuming but free is worth it :)
