I rarely post but just had such a positive VBAC experience I wanted to share. My labor was long 38 hours and seemed to be tricky at times, but in the end my body did what it needed and I had a flawless vaginal birth. The afternoon after my ds1 was jumping on me in the hospital bed. Although it was uncomfortable I will forever be grateful that he could snuggle in with me in those first meeting baby brother moments. The second day I could lift ds1 with minimal pain. I am not going to lie, it is uncomfortable but it can't be compared to csection recovery. I have only had to take a steady dose of OTC Motrin for a few days.
I know it varies for everyone, but this is the best decision I could have made!
