I have had GD for 3 weeks now and am totally diet controlled. My numbers are great, doctor and dietician say so. I have only had four or five numbers higher than 120 in those 3 weeks. (Two were 1 point higher, and two were 130) Doctor did not consider the 121 numbers to be bad and she even said the 130 number wasn't any concern. I have noticed that when I don't have a protein like chicken or meat at my meal my number tends to be higher. Last night I tried pizza, it sounded good and I haven't had it in a while and my number was 130. Even though I know that is pretty much ok, I just want to make sure that I am not hurting my little girl. My doctor didn't really tell me anything about calling if I get two high numbers in one day or what a "high" number is. So I am wondering what other people have been told. I go back on Friday for a normal appointment so I can ask her then.
