Lupron Side Effects?

What kind of side effects did you have from the Lupron shots?

I had my first one today. (this morning)

This afternoon---I was soooooo tired. I wasn't sure if it is a side effect of the medicine, or the fact that I didn't sleep that well last night. I looked up the side effects and yes, it lists that it can make you tired...but it can also cause insomnia or wakefulness. {Awesome. I'll either be realllly tired, or wide awake!....but probably never at the right time!}

 

What were your Lupron experiences?

And the self-injecting with a 30 gauge needle: not so bad!

    Tired and extremely weak - lol!  I am amazed at how tired my muscles are!
    TTC #1 since Dec. 2008 01/10 - DH diagnosed with Azoospermia 05/10 - First Biopsy - producing sperm :) 08/11 - Second Biopsy..4 vials frozen 08/12 - First IVF BFN & no more vials :( Don't know our next plan...

    While I was on lupron I would be tired later during the day and ended up going to bed early and would wake up wide awake at like 6 am!!!! When I am not a good morning person and usually sleep in till like 8!!!!
    Me 34 and DH 39 married in aug. 2002
    Did 5 round of clomid 2010 =BFN
     High levels of NK CELLS DX sept.2012 DOR:# 0.02 
    IVF #1 May 2012  ER 4, EF 2, ET 2 =BFN
    MINI IVF Oct.2012  Cancelled 10-27-12
    Ivf #3 Antagonist Protocol April 2013
    Shared cycle..Donor cycled in July Got 12 eggs 9 fertilized and 8 frozen!!
    DE FET #1 Sept. 3rd 2013 FIRST BFP EVER 5dp5dt
    miscarried Sept 24th at 5 weeks 5 days
    Etopic  D&C and hysterscopy Nov 5 2013
    dx with pre genetic blood clotting dec 2013
    FET #2 Jan 31st  2014 
    Miscarried for a second time again at 5 weeks 5 days
    Currently fostering to adopt an amazing little 1 year old boy..P.J!
    FET#3  is Oct 29th 2014
    BFN on fet #3
    Last and FINAL FET coming JAN 28th 2015

    I was on microdose lupron - 20 units twice/ day. I had a really bad headache until I started stims and my estrogen levels increased.

    Tired, nasty headache, and sneezing
    Married July 2011; TTC since April 2011; DX: MFI

    I did 5 units a day and I had a stuffy nose that would come and go. my muscles also felt a bit weak.

    IVF #1=18 eggs retrieved, 16 mature and 14 fert. with ICSI ("freeze all" at day 2 OHSS)
    FET #1- 2 (day3) embies, BFP

    I've been on Lupron for 7 days and have had a raging headache for 6 of them.
    Me: 29 DH: 30 TTC # 1 since 2008, in denial of needing an RE until 2012 DX with severe MFI, straight to IVF IVF #1 August 2012- stims 8/18, ER 8/28- 18R, 11M, 10F. 9/3 ET cancelled due to chronic OHSS. 6 awesome embies on ice! 9/27 FET Beta #1: 427-BFP!!!
