I will be transitioning DS to his crib soon. He currently falls asleep on our bed staring at our ceiling fan before we move him to PnP in our room. I'm thankful that he can fall asleep on his own on a flat surface since he normally takes his naps in the RnP or swing. But I think I will need some kind of mobile or crib soother for him to stare at while falling asleep. Any reccommendations? He also needs white noise to fall asleep too which I have an app on my phone.
We have a nicer mobile someone gave us but this is on her crib which she isn't using yet. It was too stimulating for her and it ended up keeping her awake.. lol The cool thing about this for when she's older though is it has a remote, so you can crack open the door and turn it back on from afar is the timer kicks in.
We have this Baby Einstein crib soother and call it the baby crack machine. It has a white noise option to it, fwiw, though it does stop after a while (there is a remote you can use with it, though, and baby can restart it himself once he's old enough).
I didn't read the responses but we got the rainforest waterfall soother and I haven't used it but my friend got it for me and she swears by it. Read the reviews, it has a high rating. GL with the transition!

We just got this one too for LO, it's the Precious Planets 2 in 1 mobile or something like that. It's great--plays for up to 20 minutes and projects images on the screen or ceiling. Also has the remote which is handy. Plays music, nature sounds, or heartbeat. Great so far, it was a great buy!!
The Tiny Love mobiles are the best! My 2 yo DS still uses the music part on his. They play for 20 mins which is the longest i have seen. Our new one even comes with a remote to restart.

Re: Transitioning to crib soon...rec your mobile or crib soothers
Our LO loves to look up at stuff and drift off. She stares at our ceiling fan too, but for her bassinet we have this:

We also turn on her cloud B turtle and she really loves it.
I've seen that at target and BRU. Do you leave that in the crib though?
