Well great twin update while I am still dilated to 1cm I am holding which is great! My girls are officially huge for 28 weeks.. (in my opinion huge)They are growing at a great rate Twin A (Genesis) is 3ln 0oz and Twin B (Julieanna) 2lbs 12oz we are very excited.. I am taking things easy and only working 4 days a week and one from home.. Everyone else twin mammas too are you still working full time? I cut down from almost 60 hours to about 30 in the office and the rest from home.. I feel like a big wimp..
Re: Working while pregnant.. Am I a wimp or doing the right thing?
My dr made me start working from home at 26 weeks. I still feel like a big whimp because there was no real reason for it... totally precautionary..
But I think you're doing great. Id love the option to have worked 4 days and one from home.. but it's al or nothing.
Congrats on the great update!!
I worked in the office full time until 30 weeks. Then I had to work from home due to a slightly shortening cervix.
This.
I stopped working two weeks ago when contrax started. My cervix was still 4.7 at the time and my docs pulled. Of course we arent taking any chances with our history. Still I would think with you already dialated you would be on complete bed rest.

Living After Losing
True -- it's not always feasible. My H got laid off halfway through my pregnancy -- we wouldn't have been able to afford for me not to work. Which is why I'm grateful they let me work from home those last 6/7 weeks.
I missed the part about you already being 1cm dilated. That would worry me. My SIL was on bedrest from 24wks on for that.
I'm still working, but I think it's actually helping me. Don't get me wrong, I'm very tired at the end of the day, but I don't work in an office. I'm in sales, so I am in and out of stores all day. The worst part right now if that I live in Texas and it's 100+ degrees outside, but the walking all day has kept my weight under control, I've only gained 24 pounds so far, and when I get home, I just put my feet up and the swelling goes down in a couple hours. But I think sitting down all day would make me swell more. I am really hoping that they don't put me on medical bedrest, but we'll see!
Good Luck!!!!

My work forced me out at 20 weeks (long story). At the time I was devistated and not mentally nor financially prepared. Turned out to be the BEST. THING. EVER. I am so glad I had time without kids before the tornado of twins hit (I mean that in the most loving way possible). DO NOT feel bad. Take it easy. I am sure the only reason I made it to 37wk 4days is because I wasn't working. Do what you need to do and don't feel guilty.
