To temp this cycle? My RE said don't bother because it will drive you nuts, but listening/reading to how on top of things (O) you guys are that temp is driving me nuts that I don't. Or should I wait till next cycle?
It's hard to say without knowing what CD you are on....
Off BCP since 1/12 TTC since 3/12 High LH/FSH Ratio 8/12 DX with PCOS 11/12 Clomid 50mg - 19.5mm Follie - Trigger + TI = BFP! 11/12 EDD August 11, 2013
I say the sooner the better, that way you can at least get used to it. I'm still trying to get myself to the point where I'm not obsessing over it and waking up at weird times, if you can get over that part before you start your next cycle then you'll probably have a more accurate chart.
Not temping drives me nuts because I don't know what the fluck is going on with my body. Temping keeps me sane and makes me feel more in control, and more empowered knowing exactly when I O.

I agree. I wish I had starting temping while we were TTA so I'd have a better idea of what to expect now that I am temping while we're TTC.
Trying to get knocked up since June 2012 ~ Dx: PCOS
But she's using an RE. She may be monitored and medicated, therefore you really don't need to temp because meds mess with temps and her RE should be checking follicles if she is medicated. All theoretically speaking, since we don't know if she is medicated.

I'm CD9. I am off meds this cycle due to Clomid Cysts. So, this cycle is non medicated. Not sure what we'll do moving forward. Have U/S to check cysts status on Thursday. My AF was only 4days this time. (unusually for me). Had baseline U/S done on CD1 with RE.

Took the words right out of my mouth! I'm too much of a control freak NOT to temp. :-)

BFP #3 - 04-10-13; Third time is a charm... Stick, baby, stick!!!
I would temp...like PPs have said, it'll help you get into the swing of things. My temps look wonky this cycle and I think (I hope) it's because of user error. CD9 isn't too late to start, anyway. You'll still be able to see the thermal shift after you O.
I promise to never forget that this little dude deserves just as much love after the baby comes as he has now.

TTC #1 since 7/12...come on baby!
Even if you are late in your cycle and may have already O'd there is no harm in starting to temp just to get in the habit and swing of it now.
That's what I did. It has allowed me to work out some kinks that I've come across. I started a little over midway through my last cycle. It was still very informative. I'd recommend starting to get yourself in the habit of temping.
But,I also agree w/ KK. So, It depends on if you're medicated and being monitored by the RE.
