Sort of discouraged today..

We are working with a small agency here in our town and I just called for my monthly-ish update and long-story-short, there are just no birth-moms. Well, to be fair, there are women calling in and meeting with the agent, but none that are committed enough to make the birth plan right now and browse portfolios.

Our agent says this has been a weird summer and there just hasn't been a lot of action. I REALLY like this agent/agency and have been very happy with them, but I can't help but wonder why BMs aren't coming in? 

I know that finding your own birthmom is an option, but I'm not sure I'm prepared to do that. I have always just sort of felt like God will bring us our baby in the right time and this is where we should be. 

 Sorry if this is rambling without a point, but I'm just feeling a bit discouraged today. Need to shake this.

That is discouraging, but hang in there! You are right, God will send you your baby when the time is right. My T&P are with you! :-)

I remember very well feeling like you are right now. But you are right, God has a plan and he will bring your baby to you in his own time!

I'm sorry. Feeling the same over here, and the birthmom situation is the same with our agency. We are on the wait list to get into the profile book and have only moved up 3 spots since the beginning of June. It's extremely discouraging. We started this whole process almost 11 months ago and haven't even had the opportunity to have our profile shown.
