All dressed up and nowhere to go...

Well, not super dressed up- but I actually set an alarm to get up early and put a cute outfit on, and makeup.  I was supposed to go back to volunteering 1x a week and today would have been my first day back since M started crawling and I could no longer take her with me.

 I was looking forward to this.  I go to leave and realize DH took the car seat to work in his car.  So, I put her in the stroller since the person lives only about a 1/2 mile away, and start running to get Maya there on time.  Once I get there, she tells me she has other plans, and didn't think we'd confirmed today as M's first day there (we did, but whatever).

So, now I can't even take Maya anywhere since I have no car seat.  We're about to walk to the little park down the street, but it's not what I had in mind.  I was looking forward to some adult interaction! 

There's no point to this post- I figure since the board is slow, I should post more.  But I have no juicy drama.  Anyone else having a case of "The Mondays"?

yep - the Mondays are here. By the time 7 am had rolled around this morning I had already: gotten a little weepy when I left for work this morning (damp IF meds), had a fight with the new parking machines at the train station (and lost), locked myself out of my office, and realized that the paper I am supposed to be dropping off at the printer for a wedding invite this afternoon is 1/2 cream and 1/2 creamy white. Nothing of note has happened since 7 but still it was not a good start.

Today is the first day it is not overwhelming to hot to go and walk around outside but I am stuck at home waiting for the cable/internet guy to come and hook us up. It so pretty out and I would love to take O to the park but no I gotta sit here and wait possibility until 3pm blah!
