PP rash

Someone might have posted about this recently, but I have been MIA the last week

Did anyone develop a rash postpartum?  I started to get one about 8 days PP, it was all over my arms and legs then moved to my stomach.  Now my stomach is fire engine red, but it has subsided on my arms and legs.  I've read up on PUPPS and while it is rare to develop postpartum it seems like that might be it.

Anyone else have this?  Any suggestions for dealing with it?  I do go to the doc tomorrow so I will address it with him then. I know I could take benadryl, but I've read that can dry up milk and I don't want to mess with my supply, we still don't have BFing down 100% yet!

Did you have a c-section? I developed a rash a little over a week after my c-section from the surgical cleaner they used on my abdomen. It ended up becoming a systemic reaction and was covering almost every surface of my body. I had to go on Prednisone, Benadryl, and Pepcid to get rid of it. It was honestly worse than recovering from surgery! I'm thankfully rash free now.

I had a rash on my stomach for the first week or so after delivery.  They were just small itchy bumps, more irritating than anything.  I also had this after DS1.  I definitely don't think it was PUPPS.  I read it could be related to your hormones regulating.  It's gone now, whatever it was!
