Every few years the commercials suck me into retrying it hoping they changed their formula or something. However, each time I kick myself for spending the money because it feels like it leaves a coat of wax on my hair. How has it stayed so popular for so darn long?? If you like it is there a certain "version" of it you like?

Re: Does anyone really use Pantene?
I haven't in forever but it's because they test on animals (or did, I haven't looked the, up) I was never impressed with them anyway.
I like what I use now, it's a split end treatment, tresemme I think.
Labor Buddy to Blowfish11
I have thick hair and use it but I don't do anything fancy with my hair; it's either pulled back or I straighten it once in a blue moon. There's always coupons for it so I have a stockpile. Last time I got them for 34 cents a bottle at Target.
I think different formulas just work better on different hair. It's one of the few that doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy.
I do!
But I use the clarifying/clear kind. And I barely use any conditioner at all. Like, pinky-nail sized blip.
Works great for my hair, for whatever reason.

I have very fine hair but quite a bit of it and Pantene leaves a weird greasy look plus a wax coating on mine. I hate it with a passion and 3/4s of the shampoos out there are all the same to me/I'll use whatever.
My bff however has used the stuff since HS and swears by it. We have pretty much the same hair type too.
