Hey ladies,

I lost my son at 15 weeks 2 days on June 1st. I got my first af 33 days later on July 3rd and it was light with no cramps and lasted till July 7th. On July 30th and 31st I had brown spotting and  on August 1st I got what I thought was my second af and was light with no cramps again and ended on August 5th. Then on the 8th and 9th I had very light brown spotting... nothing in my underwear just when i wiped. Then on the 10th I started to bleed a little... a little more than spotting and stopped that night. Yesterday (the 11th) I started bleeding a good amount of bright red blood and passed at least 5 blood clots and today the same only lighter bleeding and only one clot. Has anyone had anything like this? Does it seem normal? It seems weird to me because my first af was so normal. I have a doctors appt later today but was wondering if anyone had any advice or experience like this. Thanks in advance. xo

    I don't have experience with this, but I'm so sorry for the loss of your son.  I hope you get some answers at your doctor's appointment.

    All I can think is that your first AF wasn't really AF. I got what I thought was my first AF at 28 days pp- it was light too, no cramps. Then it took another 9 weeks to bleed again, but when I did, oh man. That was the real AF, lasted longer than usual and was much heavier than usual, which is common from what I read around here. So maybe this is your first real AF?
