Still using Free & Clear stuff?

Are you still using free and clear laundry, no softener, no fabric sheets, etc stuff? At what point do you stop doing this?

Re: Still using Free & Clear stuff?

  • We are, but I've also been using F&C softener and sheets too. I always have.

I don't plan on switching because DS has really bad eczema.

  • We still are, DS's clothes are washed separately too. We do use softener though but no fabric sheets for any of us. Well, I have used fabric sheets for his stuff on the rare occasion I do buy them.

  • I use F&C detergent for all my adult laundry so LO will always have F&C as well.

  • Never did.  We always just used what we use for his stuff too.  We don't use fabric softener for anything, so that isn't an issue.

  • I make a homemade detergent that we use on all of our clothes and have for years.  The clothes literally have no smell when they come out so pretty close to F&C detergents.  It makes literally 10 gallons for about $4.00.  I used Dreft when LO was born and at about 5 weeks she had a horrible allergic rash.   We've used our detergent for her ever since and haven't had a problem.  I do occassionally use fabric sheets (usually in the winter when the air in the house is so dry and there is so much static).
  • I've always used all F&C, with no scent dryer sheets.

    Scented laundry bothers me!

  • I have every since DD1 was born.  I actually prefer it.  I am not fond of scented laundry soap or dryer sheets.

ETA We also do not separate her clothes with ours.  Well except for when DH's work clothes get to nasty!

This, except for DD's eczema is mild.

  • I still use it and have grown to like it better than regular so i dont plan to stop.  I also use free and clear dish detergent and find it so much better for DDs bottles, sippys, ect

  • I make my own laundry soap.  I use Ivory in it so it is probably even more mild than the F&C.
  • I use Free and Clear for all of our laundry. We also use unscented fabric sheets.

  • I use the recipe from the Duggar website. You can also use other soaps I believe. The only other soap I know that someone used was Ivory.  I like how FelsNaptha takes out stains.  Hope you can click on it.

  • I've had his stuff going in with ours since the get-go.  Had some Free & Clear on hand when he first came home just in case, but it didn't end up being an issue for him.  It's so much easier to just wash his stuff with ours.
