Hey, my smartphone got it's screen smashed, so now I can only see half my screen (but it it still functional besides that). I have worked a few hours "of the clock", helping a friend washing a house this summer, earning me enough money for either a cheap phone and a SLR, og an expensive phone and a digital camera. I love to take photos, and what I use my phone for is ringing, texing and taking pictures/uploadning to FB if I do not have a camera at hand. All those other app's are just "dandy" to have, but not something I use one a everyday basis. When I borrowed my uncles SLR for a month I took ca 2000 photographs, I purchased my own used online - and mine does not work completely - so I want to buy a new in a store, because I take alot of pictures with my phone now (between 5 and 30 a day).

 What do you think? Should I go for average quality on both items, good "in-the-moment"pictures or excellent quality for planned occations like trips to the beach, zoo, first day of DC ect.?
