I'm post happy (sorry) When able to bathe?

I get my staples out Monday, so I'm going to ask my doctor then, but when were you ladies first aloud to bathe after your staples were out?

I was able to shower whenever I felt up to it in the hospital.

I don't think I had any restrictions about submerging my incision after my staples were out 6 days pp.

You know, I don't think anyone told me...I just had my staples out yesterday (feels sooo much better.) But yeah, I've been showering since the day after delivery.

I showered the next morning. I never asked about baths.

I was able to shower the next day but when I had my staples removed at 6 days pp, the technician said no baths until after my real postpartum visit with the doc at 5 weeks.

You can shower 24 hrs or so post op. No baths, pools, beaches, etc until staples removed and incision is completely healed.

I didn't have staples, but was told to wait until after my 3 week check up to bathe.  At that point they said it was fine to take baths.
