Had my 4th c-section.........

Hi,

I just had my 4th c-section a little over 3 weeks ago. I know that I was curious to see if anyone had had 4 before I did and find out how it went, so I thought I would post and let everyone know.
It went really well and the recovery has been by far the easiest. I don't know if it is because the boys were older this time and I didn't have to worry about picking anyone up.
The only problem I had was when they were placing the epidural for my c-section. He obviously hit some major nerve because my left leg felt as if it was on fire. I screamed and then passed out and when I came through I was lying down, oxygen mask on and they were putting meds into my IV to get my blood pressure back up. I am still having pain that goes down from my back to my left butt cheek to the back of my left thigh.
My boys are completely in love with the baby as well and are completely smitten.
And my new son is by far the easiest baby - I'm sure that might have played into my recovery as well!

Good luck to anyone having an upcoming c-section. I have had 4 completely differrent experiences each time! I went in expecting the worst and ended up with the best!

Thanks for posting!!!! I'm glad it was relatively easy for you.

I'm going to have my 4th c-section end of September and I don't know anyone that has had 4 c-sections IRL. My last 3 c-sections were fantastic in terms of recovery.

My oldest is 6, so I do have younger kids, but I'm really not carrying them around all that much, so it should be easier.
