My rash I was complaining about in FFFC?

Turns out I have Hand, Mouth and Foot disease.  It seems DD had it a few days ago but because she didn't have much of a rash we chalked it up to teething.  This is miserable and now is all over my face.  I could be a star in a horror movie without any special effects.

So sorry to hear that! Hopefully you'll get better soon.

On a side note, I always picture Mad Cow Disease when someone talks about HF&M. I'm obviously not in the medical profession.

Boourns! Parents shouldn't be able to catch children's disease. How are we supposed to take care of them if we're dying too? WTF universe. Get on that.

Oh no! DS has that right now and I didn't think I could get it for some reason. Fantastic well here's hoping to not getting it b/c it just sounds plain awful! For DS we are doing around the clock tylonel for 3 days for pain management along with the 3-2-1 mouth solution (benedryl, maalox, and water) for the sores in his throat. Did your DR give you any words of wisdom for some relief?

Thanks guys.  They didn't seem concerned about having it while being pregnant.  Luckily I don't really have any lesions in my mouth.  My hands and face have it the worst.  I am taking benadryl and tylenol and slathering regularly in calamine lotion.  DD had it a few days ago and is pretty much over it now.  We didn't realize she had it.  She had too tiny marks on her hand, a fever and was miserable.  We had called the doctor but it was all chalked up to teething.  I feel horrible if she felt as shitty as I do now.  I seriously just want to cut my hands off.
