I have a picky eater as well and it's very frustrating. I try to mix it up though. She typically likes carrots, sweet potato, butternut squash. I try to mix plain yogurt with different fruits, avocado's, home made soups (broccoli, red pepper, something not to watery) She likes the typical apple sauce, pears, etc. But it doesn't go much past that. I haven't introduced meats to her yet.
Favorite meal: turkey meatball, cheese tortellini, and mixed vegetables. She likes a variety of foods at each meal, this is her favorite combination of foods.
try grilled cheese sandwiches - use nonstick spray instead of butter if you want and then cut them into little squares! just soft enough for little ones and really yummy. Also my DD loves banana pieces covered in baby oatmeal - makes it less slippery so she can pick it up!
