Recommend your double stroller

I'm about 12 weeks pregnant with my second baby.  When he/she is born, DS will be almost 18 months so I'm in the market for a double stroller.  I originally bought a safety first travel system for my son but ended up hating the stroller part of it.  Maybe if I only ever used it in the mall it would've been fine but going on a bumpy sidewalk was awful.  So I bought a baby jogger city mini and we love it but it's not a double.  Any suggestions on smoothing riding stollers?  What do you think about side-by-side versus front and back?  TIA!

DD will be 19 months when this LO is born, and we are planning on the BJ City Select, based on recommendations.

I loved my city mini single, but realized I wanted bigger tires for the kind of walking we do. So, I got the city elite double (now discontinued for the Mini GT version). If the mini suits all your needs, I'd go with the double (or the Britax B-agile double). If there are things you wish you could change, I'd look for a stroller with those features.

There's a post a couple threads down with recommendations too. I love my city mini double. It's easy to push, light weight, and fits through doors.
