Lactose Intolerance? Will it go away after birth?

I seem to have developed lactose intolerance since becoming pregnant and it seems to be getting worse the further along I get (25 weeks now).  Just wondering if it will go away after I give birth.  I didn't have this problem when I was pregnant with my daughter.  Any STMs have any experience with this?

  • Not me, but my friend had a lactose intolerance during pregnancy with her third. Her intolerance went away after birth, but her kiddo was lactose intolerant.

    Just throwing that out there.

  • I had some lactose issues before becoming pregnant with DD.  Then when I was pregnant, I would throw up if I drank milk and sometimes with ice cream.  It got better, but it is still worse than before.  I happened again with my last pregnancy.

This time, it isn't as bad.  Ice cream makes me really really sick, but not enough to vomit.  I am not sure if I am far enough along for it to be really bad yet though.

Also, DD is lactose intolerant.   So I am drinking her lactose free milk, so I am not sure if milk makes me really sick still too.
