  • I will recycle mine. I mention people from the FB group for fun to see if they will show up. When they do I crack up.

I got my hair cut some more yesterday and I don't love it. I lied and told my sister I did because I didn't want to hurt her feeling.

i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.

  • I've mentioned before that my husband is quickly balding and he hates it. He's looked into getting hair restoration and decided against it because of the costs (we have the money but we are house shopping and he wants to use it towards that). I really wish he'd do the hair restoration. For me, it is less about the aesthetics and more about the attitude- my husband was so confident before and I found that really sexy. Now that he's losing his hair, he's lost that confidence and I want him to get that back. No matter how much I say to him or try to show him that I don't care about the hair loss, it doesn't convince him.

One of the girls I work with who I have a serious disliking for fell and broke three of her toes. When I found out, I literally laughed out loud.

Yeah I have done that too.  I figured she takes short naps and I don't want to choose between eating and going to the bathroom.  I can have my cake and eat it too!

The very first time that DH changed DS's diaper in the hospital he pooped and peed all over as he did it. Haha. It was pretty funny. Poor baby boy somehow peed on his own hat though.

My fffc is that my mom is coming to town today for the weekend to visit and even though I'm super excited to see her, I always get really nervous because she is a chain smoker and always reaks of smoke. I tell her she needs to change her shirt, wash before she hold him every time but she slowly started just washing her hands. When you hold a baby they are up against you so ds smells like smoke still and it makes me so sad. I normally don't give him a bath every day but I do when my mom is town and I tell her that that is what I normally do so I won't hurt her feelings anymore. I wish I could give him 3 baths per day when she is here.

I've put him in the bouncy seat and taken him in with me when I have to go.  I've tried to talk to him while I do it to ease the awkwardness, but it doesn't really work :/

I'm not sure if you are talking about the same thing, but my brother got a hair transplant when he was 25 or so. It looked okay at first, but then he kept balding and now he can't buzz his head at all because everyone thinks he had brain surgery and it looks so much worse now than if he was just going a little bald. just something to be aware of if he does look to get get the surgery. Gl either way though.

  • DD's room is on another floor of the house so when we go to bed I transfer her from her crib to the RNP beside our bed. Sometimes I move around a bit more than I need to and wake her up on the way upstairs so that I have to spend time to get her back to sleep thereby avoiding DTD. I love the guy so much and wish I wanted to, but the drive just isn't back yet.

Beener, has he tried propecia? It only regrows hair in a small percentage of men but it works great for keeping the hair you have. It's a pill so it's easy. I swear every man I know in NY takes it just out of paranoia!

  • I am very anxiously awaiting Andy's 4 month checkup, to see if the Dr mentions starting any sort of cereal or food.  He has completely rejected my boobs, so I'm pumping and supplementing with formula.  A big part of wanting him to OK more food is to help him sleep.  He's only STTN once and doesn't take great naps.  Yesterday he slept for an hour out of the whole 15 hours he was awake.

No, he hasn't. Is it Rx only? He just went to the derm to get moles looked at and she commented, quite rudely, about his hair loss. He asked her what he could do and she suggested Rogaine so he picked that up (he's tried it before but didn't stick with it, and it is one of those products that if you stop using, you start losing it again).

I'm guilty of the same thing. I would have to wash my sheets every day and I just don't have time for that.

  • Not proud to say this, but DD watches far too much TV.  It keeps her quiet, happy and "entertained".  I know I need to stop this asap.

I told the pedi yesterday that ds hasn't STTN in 2 months and how he only naps for like and hour a day and she still wanted me to wait till, "closer to 6 months" before we start introducing it. She wants us to start with oatmeal first. I know I originally wanted to wait till 6 months but I figured he would be sleeping better by now.

you go girl! I quit at ten weeks, and used work as the excuse. It would have been a pain to pump at work and really hard but it would have been doable.

Isn't there a lawsuit about this product right now?  I thought it was linked to suicide (so, probably depression), but I'm reading sexual dysfunction.

Beener- yes, it is Rx only and it's kind of expensive... I think $75 a month or more. And you have to take it forever because once you stop taking it all your hair that it was keeping in will fall out haha.

Dixee- honestly not sure about the lawsuit. I haven't been working in a while but we used to prescribe it very regularly in the doctors office where I was a nurse. There are a small percentage of men who experience sexual side effects but you usually notice it right away and they go away immediately when you stop taking the pill so it's not so bad.

The only other "bad" thing I know about it is that it can't be handled by pregnant women so you couldn't touch your husband's pills if you were pregnant but that's not a big deal.

My husband and brother take it and so do alot of men I know just to keep the hair they have but it does regrow hair in some cases.
