My 2 month old twins are still in the colic phase and also hate tummy time. The result, unfortunately, is that they end up sleeping either on top of me, in their carseat or vibrating swing (really, wherever the chips fall so to speak) and a lot of time on their backs. Twin A was breech, and when he was born had a very pointed head (even with a c-section) and also tends to rest on one side (I do try to reposition)-he now has a flat spot which I feel really bad about. Anyone else have experience with this and what did you do?
Re: head shape
I had some concerns about DS, so he is seeing a specialist next week. I bought Bobby Noggin nests and now they sleep on them (they are swaddled and don't roll yet, but when they do I won't use them any more) and use them in the bouncer. They don't spend a lot of time in swings/bouncers, but they did sleep in RnP's for their first 2 months.
Just getting him to do more tummy time and being aware of getting him to turn his head to the left more, I think it has helped. Our doctor recommended switching where his head is in the crib, too since babies tend to look out, so will turn that way each time.
It's funny because we were worried about DS, but now DD is starting to get a flat spot. DS's is more asymmetrical though so that was my big concern.

My one daughter has a flatter back of her head and I've had it checked by her pediatrician at at the NICU follow up and no one was too worried about it being bad enough to do anything about it. I did however buy a boppy noggin for her to lay on which has helped it from getting worse. I wish i would have known about it earlier on though. Definitely get one of those!
Just make sure she doesn't have torticollis b/c if so you will need physical therapy to correct it. (2 of my 3 had moderate/severe tort)
