Stroller question

I read the stroller FAQ thread at the top and I have decided to try and find a DSNG to start off with the babies.

Now I am looking to narrow down the stroller we use after the DSNG.  My question for you ladies is about a tandem vs a side by side.  Which do you prefer?

I ask because I have said I would like a side by side and DH thinks I will not be able to fit through some single doorway entries and move around stores easily. Now that he said that I find myself studying every aisle I go down and every doorway I walk into!

This is really a personal preference.  I found while using the DSNG that I hated the tandem setup.  I felt like I was driving a bus, it was impossible to turn around, etc.  When we were ready for our "regular" stroller I went with a SBS.  The boys like being next to each other and both having a good view, and they are so easy to turn.

I made sure when I bought mine to get something that fits through a standard doorway.  That said, there are still places that are tricky to get through, but I prefer that to the tandem setup.

and I prefer tandem seating.

I loved my DSNG.  When I moved to my SBS, I hated it.  I can barely fit through most doorways and can't fit in most stores' shopping aisles (like at Kohls) without knocking stuff off racks.  

I am looking to go back to a tandem seating

 so its personal perference.

You could create a poll in another post and have people vote on which they like better.  Will give you better statistics on which MoM's prefer.
