When did you start going every 2 weeks?

Hey everyone! I just went to my 20 week appt yesterday and we found out boy/girl twins! Yay! But my question is when will I start going every 2 weeks, my doc said at 20 weeks I would, but then yesterday after the ultrasound and him checking me he said we will see you back in 4 weeks....So i'm just a little worried, bc I am so scared through this anyway that something will go wrong, and it's getting into the second half of the pregnancy...

I've been going every two weeks since about 15w but that's because I started having constant contractions around then. If you're not comfortable going that long, let them know...18w-24w was a very nerve wracking time for me. I told my Dr. about my anxiety and she was very reassuring and said she'd see me every week if that's what we needed to do.

It feels like I had something every few weeks starting around 20 weeks... 

19 week - gender scan @ hospital

21 weeks - Dr

24 weeks - Dr

26 weeks - growth ultrasound @ hospital

27 weeks - redo one hour glucose (passed first one, just did an extra one) + Dr

29 weeks - Dr

30 weeks - growth, cord, fluid check ultrasound @ hospital

32 weeks - Dr

33 weeks - started weekly one hour non-stress testing at hospital

I haven't started every 2 weeks yet. I go in next week for an appt at 28weeks... I assume I'll start every 2 weeks then and be back in at 30 weeks. But then I assume after that might even be every week... who knows... I guess I'll have to wait and see.

At 20 weeks I started every 2 week appointments.  At 30 weeks I would have started every week appointments.

I started going every 2 weeks to my OB at 22 weeks. I was being seen at least every 2 week all along, though, because my OB and MFM appointments were on alternate schedules.

I didn't start every 2 until 32 weeks (to week 34) then will be going every week after 34. Seems a little later than most but my guys are di/di and I have had zero complications up to this point (no BP issues, no GD, minimal BH contractions, no spotting, etc.)  It would completely depend on your individual situation and what your Dr. is comfortable with.

I don't think we started going every two weeks until about 24 weeks. It's possible that he is just used to telling patients "see you back in 4 weeks" because he is used to seeing singleton pregnancies. I would just call his office and say something like, "I was thinking about this and remembered that we were going to switch to every two weeks appointments after 20 weeks. Could you see if the doctor is still wanting to do that?" It couldn't hurt.

I saw MFM every other week beginning at 18 weeks.

I saw MFM every 2 weeks from 16 to 24 weeks. Then every month from 24 to 32 weeks. That's about 6 weeks out and all I have scheduled right now. My regular OB said the MFM will want bi-weekly NST's at some point... Holy appointment overload!!

Regular OB every month from 12 to 28 weeks. Then every other week from 28 to 36 weeks. Weekly from then until delivery.

We went every two weeks through the whole pregnancy. We only saw an MFM (no OB), and that was just the policy. We didn't go weekly until right at the end though - I think 35 weeks (and they were born at 37w3d).
