I have not been here very long but it is cool with me. I am sure that I could learn a lot from more women who have already done this. I am currently disappointed with my 2 mothers in law and my mother for not properly preparing me for pregnancy.
This board is not very active but is very helpful when someone needs advice.
The only faux pas that I can think of is, if you do post here, don't complain about us on other boards. Some people have joined in here and then gone to other boards to complain that it is not active here.
Absolutely join. the two groups seem like they would probably combine well and add to the activity.
More a warning for those coming from the Parenting board, we are the "Pregnancy" list, so of course, there will be lots of mentions of what we're all going through in this pre-birth stage. But as you have all been through this at least once, I expect it shouldn't be new. And hopefully there will be plenty that more experienced folk can add!
I'm totally cool with it. TBH, I haven't really found a "home" on the bump. I keep trying out different boards hoping to find one that I fall under will click.
