Girl Names...Help

We found out today we are having a baby girl. DH & I have not decided on any names yet. We have talked some but haven't came across any we really love. Thought you ladies could help Smile We have a MN, DH wants to honor his late grandmother, so we are using Claire (DH likes Clare) but I think without the "i" looks like a boys name. The names we have tossed around are:

Maya

Avia

Mila

Laila

Levia

Melia

Eliana

Mina

Lila

I really liked Milena until I saw somebody say something about melana- bloody, dark stools. Gross!

These are just names we have tossed around and talked about, but not really decided on one yet. So any thoughts/advice/comments/additional names would be helpful Big Smile Preferably no names that begin with b, c or g.

I think Claire is a beautiful mn. I think of the choices listed I like Mina Claire.

I don't know if you've already considered Olivia Claire but I think it seems to fit your style and sounds really good together to me.

I'd never heard the name Milena until a couple weeks ago and was really liking it until you made that connection for me! Eww!

One of the reasons I liked Milena so much was because I love the name Lena, and thought that'd be a cute nickname. I think Lena Claire is cute.

Of the names you listed, I really like Mila, Laila, Eliana, and Lila. I think they all sound great with Claire!

I like Maya Claire, Lilah Claire, Eliana Claire or Leila Claire. Those are the spellings I prefer.

If you're honoring his grandmother, shouldn't you spell the name how she spelled it? Which was it, Clare or Claire?

I love Melia and Laila - my husband an I tossed the name, Laila, around to but it's too close to my name which is Shaila so we didnt go with it but I love the name!
