Update and some rambling

Monday's bw & u/s showed I finally had some action.  A 17 on leftie and some little guys hanging out.  But e2 still was rising.  Repeat today and the 17 hasn't grown much and my e2 is still only at 35.

Going to repeat again on Friday but strong possibility we will be cancelled.  Nurse said he just doesn't like what he's seeing and already has some ideas for what's next.

At last count DH's SA showed 80K motile... the one done last month showed 1mill.  How the count went up we have no idea.  It's still not great but it's a crazy improvement.  And now that he's on Clomid, we are hoping that we will see even more of an improvement.

We were trying this iui basically because we could.  Dipping our toes back into the cycling pool if you will.  I'm kind of torn with what to do (and yes, jumping the gun since we aren't cancelled just yet).  I need to think a little bit ahead though so I'm trying to figure if we try a couple of iui's (prob w/ injects) while DH's body has time to respond to the Clomid?  Do we wait to retest him and then make a decision based on those results (iui or ivf #2)?...

Ughh I'm just so tired of doing nothing (and annoyed that no one else, including the uro, was willing to try meds for DH before now). 

If you read all that, thanks for listening.  I'm feeling whiny tonite, lol.

    Whine away. That's what we're here for!!  Hope your follie will kick it up a notch in the E2 dept.  Waiting around sucks but if DH's count keeps going up, it will be worth it!

    It has been awhile since i did iui's but i think my re would trigger me when follie(s) we around 18 or 19...maybe 20. Wishing you all the luck!!
    I am AMA and all tests on H came back normal
    3 failed IVF with OE and 2 failed frozen DE cycles
    Last fresh hail mary DE cycle starting Feb 2013
    PAIF/SAIF always welcome

    I hope your follie keeps growing and E2 rises. I know about needing to plan ahead, just to feel like something is going on, but there is always time for that, if needed. Good luck.

    DH: low count + very low motility; hormones all normal; Sperm DNA Frag. test = poor to fair; male karyotyping normal
    Me: FSH 13.4 + AMH 0.26 + hypothyroidism; Scratch the hypothyrodism (?); Blood clotting and immune panel all negative; endometrial biopsy normal

    IVF #1 (MDLF - Jul/Aug 2011): BFN (9R, 5M, 3F with ICSI, 3dt of 1 10-cell grade 2, no frosties)
    IVF #2 (EP-antagonist - Sep/Oct 2011): BFN (6R, 4M, 3F w/ ICSI, 3dt of 1 6-cell, 1 7-cell, grade 4s, no frosties)
    DE IVF #1 (shared cycle - June 2012): c/p (6R, 6F w/ICSI, 3dt 1 8-cell grade A- and 1 7-cell grade A-; no frosties)

    I had several very long breaks throughout treaments, due to medical things i could not control  Sometimes i liked a break, other times it drove me insane!

    If the iui's are covered, and it makes u feel better to take action...why not?  But cycling wo result is also hard.  Kind of a catch 22.

    Thank you ladies.  I am just so excited to finally be doing something again that being told to wait again was like a kick in the gut.

    And to top it all off, I started spotting last night... my body just wants to keep throwing curveballs at me.

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    FX you get better news on Friday! C'mon E2!!! Great news about DH's count -- hopefully the Clomid will help even more.
