just got 4 positives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this will be our first!!!!!! I'm teetering between excited and apprehensive about being excited! lol. just wanted to share the news...

TTC since August 2011, Me = 40, DH = 38
Unexplained IF. Tried Clomid for 3 cycles. All BFNs. BFP 1/6/13. Chemical pregnancy.
Moving on to IVF#1. ER 11/26/13, 16 eggs retreived, 12 mature and all fertilized. 2 blasts transferred on 12/1. All other embies arrested so nothing left to freeze. Beta 12/10 = BFN. IVF #2 March 2014. BFP!!! TEAM BLUE!!!

No, you wouldn't have said anything to us because you don't ever post here. Except this thread, to post your BFP and the other thread you started to say how frustrated you are with TTC after 3 months. That is as far as your "contribution" to the board goes.

I'm pretty sure no one recognized you. Posters here are very supportive of ladies they know, but don't appreciate strangers dropping in to announce a BFP. It's sort of like rubbing it in the faces of people who are trying to get pregnant.

You have 9 posts, so you weren't an active member of this board. To come wave your positive test around a board full of people trying to conceive who don't have a clue as to who you are is tactless. Good luck on TB.
Also, when you edit a post, it's considered polite to put an ETA (insert reason) at the bottom of it.
It looks like you have barely posted here. It is hard for strangers to be excited for you when you never post. If you would have been well known on the board and actually posted while you were TTC and got to know the girls I am sure they would be happier for you.

And if you lurked more you would find out that if someone has good news, they are often congratulated on their good news BUT they were active members of this board sharing congrats to other people before or helping out others with questions or offering sympothies to others. They have a lot more that 7 posts before this. That is why you are quicly being directed to 1st tri board and being told you are a drive-by. The post right after you is also a drive-by but she had you beat by 2 posts.
Again, congrats and I hope you have a wonderful 9 months. Enjoy your first baby!

You probably don't know & probably don't care, but it is considered rude & rubbing a BFP (positive HPT) in people's faces when you gleefully announce you are pregnant to a board full of people who really want to be. Not only that, but it's offensive when you haven't even participated on the board or gotten to know us at all.
I am happy for you & your good news, but First Trimester is a better place to "tell someone" than on a board where people are still trying. Some posters could be having a bad day & they don't need to hear about a perfect stranger's positive. Please move along, you don't belong here: you are pregnant, not trying. The ladies on first trimester can relate to your excitement. Happy pregnancy & hope to get to know you when you come back for #2.
