It just keeps getting worse (UPDATED)

UPDATE:

I thought it would be just easier to update this post than to start a new one.

Yesterday was my student's funeral.  I think I got a lot of closure from that.  And maybe the 6 shots of tequila my BFF found for me last night. :)  You guys told me to take comfort where I could find it!

I am doing pretty well with the m/c as well.  We are trying again.  

You guys are the most wonderful group of people EVER.  You have no idea how amazingly comforting it is to have you guys (well, maybe you do, since you all have us, too).  Anyway, a huge thank you for your support.  I <3 you guys (and no, I promise I am not BWI).

I'm sorry to be a PW/AW.  You guys are amazing.  I really appreciate all of you posting in my other thread (okay, all my threads), but I really need somewhere to get this out.  Feel free to ignore if you're tired of my pity party. 

When we were all pg with our April babies, I worked in a special program one-on-one with the same student for the entire year.  When I had LO a month early, they couldn't afford to continue the program.  He dropped out just before finishing 8th grade.  I considered taking this kid in, but we were expecting, and I didn't feel like we could take on him and LO.  And I know that you have to keep your professional distance from your students, etc.

I got a call yesterday (two days after my m/c started) that he committed suicide on Sunday.  I am devastated.  I just don't feel equal to the grief right now.

    Wow, that is shocking and hard to comprehend.

    It definitely would rattle me and bother me at any point, but especially on top of the m/c.

    You are not being a PW/AW!, this is why all of us come here. I am so sorry to hear this. Know in your heart that you were someone in his life that really did right by him. Stay strong momma! Better times are around the corner!

    I am so so sorry. That is incredibly sad, though in no way your fault. I am sorry that you are shouldering this sadness, along with the rest.

    I'm so sorry. Suicide is so devastating, especially when you care about the person so much. I like to think that wherever they are now, they feel how much we loved them
