Like Cordelia, (and yeah, I'm guessing there is some Buffy/Angel reference here, gotta love Cordelia Chase,) but not wild about Pearl. The combo sounds very, very old fashioned. Maybe mix up the mn choices or try a new mn?

I love Cordelia. If we have another girl, and DH gets his way, her name will be Cordelia. I am not a fan of Pearl.

I voted Ayla because I really like that name. I'm not sure how well I like it paired with the MN though.

Thanks for the feedback! I thought Pearl went well with Cordelia because (although it has many different meanings) it sometimes is said to be associated with the sea as is Pearl...however as far as honoring the people they are named from I am much closer to Marianne...do they sound better switched?
