Internal question

So I heard that my doctor does not do internal exams because he doesn't want to stir up labor and also that you can't always tell when you'll go into labor because you could be stuck at whatever dilation for a long time. Some of my friends docs har said the same thing. Ill be getting a c section and wondered of that has anything to do with it. Do your doctors check you internally?

I asked not to be checked until I was in labor. My Dr. agreed that it was not needed.

I am a RCS, and they wont do internals so I don't go early.

I've been scheduled c-section all 3 times (and will be for #4). The only internals I've had were with my 1st until I found out she was breech and had to schedule a c.
