Babies R Us Buy Back Events

Hi Ladies!

Does anyone know what time of year BRU has their buy back events?  And if you've done it, do you feel it's worth it?  I would like to trade in DS infant car seat for a convertible one. Thanks!

    Feb & Sept for the trade in events. I haven't done it personally (yet). I've heard it's a good deal if you have old expired car seats.

    I did it but I had a crap swing and bouncy seat I got at a yard sale. It's not worth it for my carseat even if DS is too big for it because I plan on using it for baby #2 if I can...

    Missing my little one lost at 9 weeks on 2.24.13. brokenhearted but not broken... 

    d&c 5/21/13... Still Healing, Still Standing... 

    MMC discovered 10/2/2013, TWINS... d&c 10/7/2013.  I still miss you, little ones. 

    Surgery December 2013 to remove a 10+cm fibroid... Open myomectomy. Benched for 3-9 months... 
    Will TTC summer Summer 2014 we hope!

    Dear God, Since I couldn't hold my little one in my lap and tell him about you, could you hold him in your lap and tell him about me?

    I don't think the trade in is worth it IMO, and I wouldn't trade in an infant seat for a convertible one either.

     I did it in Feb for my son's convertible seat! It was worth it for us. You dont need to replace exactly what you bring in (ie. you can bring in a swing and still get a seat!)! We traded  in dd's seat that was pink for a britax for our DS. But my friend took in her old pack n play for a new infant seat for her new "suprise" son! Hope this helps!

    We took a VERY old car seat and stroller that was given to us. I traded the stroller for a different item...not a stroller.

    I've got the old car seat in the attic and will trade it in for something in Sept. We need another convertible seat so thats probably what we will get.
