Ulcers in Infants

Hi, I though I would post a Q on behalf of a family friend.  Their son had been diagnosed with ulcers in the stomach and intestines since 3 months old as a result of a birth mishap by the doctors.  Has anyone heard of this happening and possible treatments?  Where?  No one here has seen this problem in an infant, and we can't seem to find a specialist that knows anything.  Any info would be helpful, thanks.

I am a OB nurse and I have never heard of any such thing.  Docs can't cause ulcers in a childs stomach and intestines during a "birth mishap".  Something is missing here.  Who diagnosed this? I could only recommend that you contact a pediatric gastroenterologist (GI) for direction.  Hope it helps.
