  • Over rated IMO but then again I'm not rich.

  • I have one and honestly, I think its kind of hard to use. Either that or I'm doing something wrong. Folding and unfolding it is a bish. All the accessories are pretty expensive ie. 50 dollars for a carseat adapter. I kind of wish I bought the Britax B-ready travel system.

  • Take a look at the Valco Baby tri-mode too on strollermama.com. We just got a great deal on one second hand and it is pretty dreamy

  • We bought one for DS.  Looking back we could have saved the money.  We can probably count on both hands the number of times we used it.  We always preferred to carry DS around with our soft structured carrier.  He is 2.5 now, and he prefers to walk everywhere on his own now.  We even went to Disneyland for his 2nd birthday and he walked around the entire day.  The stroller ended up being used only to carry our stuff around.

  • Not worth it. It was the "it" stroller about 10 years ago in big cities (when it appeared on Sex and the City) and now there are about a hundred other strollers out that have better features and have improved on the idea of what made the Bugaboo famous.
  • We considered it for like 5 minutes and then decided on the Uppababy instead. Much more reasonably priced than the Bugaboo and really just as great if not better. (ok, so I haven't actually used it yet, just played with it!) But seriously, our friends and a neighbor has the Uppa and I've heard rave reviews on it.

  • The Britax system is great too, if we hadn't gotten the Uppa, we would've gotten that instead.

  • I think it really depends...we were torn between the bug and the uppababy. The bugaboo is GREAT if you're planning on only having one child/having them far apart enough in age where you won't need a stroller for the older one. It's also great if you won't need to fold it to store it/put it in and out of the car. The push/suspension is truly the best out of all the strollers out there. However, we ended up going with the uppa baby because it seemed like a better value--more accessories were included, it has the option of a rumble seat, and it also sits higher, which was better for me (5'7") and my husband (6'). Either way, if you do choose it, I highly doubt you'll regret it. You should go test drive it and others.

  • I have pushed one and while it is nice, I also love the uppababy that my sister has. I was going to get that but then got a great deal on the britax travel system which is made very similarly. I think that suffices and I plan to use my stroller a lot. I think some of it depends on how much you will use your stroller. If you are using it in your car to the mall and to the park down the street, it definitely is not worth it. If you plan to take it miles and miles, I would still look at the UBV or the britax first and probably go with one of those.

  • I have the Bugaboo Bee Plus (the-designed Bee that came out in 2012) and it is awesome. It folds easily in one motion (unlike the Chameleon) adjusts front or rear facing, adjustable handlebar, the seat and seatback gets larger for older kids, it is light weight and easy to fit in the trunk of my sedan. I would absolutely buy it again.

  • I have two....the cameleon and the bee, and while they are both great quality, I'm not sure it's worth it if you are at all concerned about money.  The cameleon is great for really young babies because of the bassinet, but IMO it's a pain in the a** to take apart and fold up, so if you'll be putting it in and out of the car, I would advise against it.  I completely stopped using mine for that reason.  I have the bee at our apt in NYC, and I like that one a lot better because it's smaller and lighter, and you don't have to take it apart to fold it up.  The wheels aren't quite as substantial, and the suspension isn't quite as good as the cameleon, but it's only noticable to me when going over really uneven terrain, like cobblestones.

Basically, I've completely stopped using the cameleon and am much happier using an umbrella stroller instead because it's such a pain to take apart and load in the car.  That being said, if you won't be taking it apart all the time, it's a really awesome stroller.  Also, if I wasn't pg again, the taking it apart and loading it up might not bother me as much.  On the other hand, I love my bee and don't ever use the umbrella stroller I have in NYC because the bee is so much better.  I haven't tried that many other strollers that are similar to bugaboos though, so I can't really say whether or not they are worth it in comparison.

  • I looked in to it, and I honestly can say I don't think it's worth the money. My husband and I agreed on the B-Ready travel system from Britax, and we LOVE it. I mean, not that we've used it w/ our baby (since he isn't due for almost 3 months) but we've pushed it around a lot & LOVE how smooth it is, and that it's so adaptable. I highly recommend you look in to that one!

look at the Uppababy vista. we were willing to spend the $ on a bugaboo but chose the Uppababy. That one FOR SURE is worth it. :)

    Totally this!!!

  • I have the Chameleon (it's just about 4 years old) and absolutely love it. I still take my almost 4 year old for walks in it (I'm getting ready to have my second here soon!). My brother and SIL opted for the Uppa Baby Vista which they love. After pushing both, I would choose the bugaboo 10 times over. The vista does have some nice features/accessories, however. When we got ours, there weren't other strollers on the market like it (The first Vista had just been released and I didn't like the features/size)

One thing I will say is that Uppa baby did make some nice changes that bugaboo never made so I think you have to just go in and try them all out. I've also heard really great things about the Britax stroller.
