In the spirit of the games, I happened to notice that our one local gymnastics place is having open house tonight and they have a class for walkers to 3 years on Wednesday mornings (parents get to participate, which, let's face it is why I'm interested).
Anyone's LO take a toddler gymnastics class and do they like it? Adair, I imagine like most kids her age, is all about the tumble time in the house. I think it would be a really fun thing for us to do together. It's once a week, 45min.
Re: Gymnastics class
We've taken the kids to a tumbling class for about a year (break for summer) and they love it.
Now I'm debating if I should move them to the next level where parents just watch, or keep them in the parent participation class. I think they're ready to move on - but not sure if I am

That sounds right. I payed 200 for two months for both babies.
yes and all the kids did was run around for 40 min.... there was a "warm up" for about 5 minutes where we'd run, hop, stretch...
It wasn't worth what we were paying so we dropped it.
My 2 year old loves gymnastics. We will be doing it for a while!
She loves the forward rolls, doing balance beam activities, and anything on the trampoline.
