Update - hanging in here. I've begun contracting pretty strongly and sometimes frequently, so interested to see how Wednesday's appointment goes. I began dialating/effacing at 32 weeks with DD, but this time I am on procardia and 17p so who knows if anything is changing. Battling the same sinus/chest congestion crap since late June, 2 rounds of antibiotics later and hardly no improvement. At this point, I am having a had time putting on my happy face and "hanging in there."

Our theme is safari animals but in girly colors. We are using Land of Nod's Morning Zoo bedding in pink. The room has accents of pink,orange,and green. I've got a vision in my head and have been focusing on that to get me through this last little stretch.

My last appointment was a bit odd. MFM is taking a vacation and seemed a bit not concerned/mentally present... My urine showed an increase in proteins from my first 24 hr catch, and BP is still creeping up there slowly. I think we are really playing a waiting game at this point given all of my other health issues, some slowed growth in Baby A, etc. Fingers crossed for a good appointment Wednesday.

We are doing a nursery beluga whale/nautical theme I am in love with the whales and didn't want to overdue it so we're mixing it up a bit. We painted this weekend, and assembled cribs. So now the fun part of actually decorating begins

How was your last appointment? Last appointment went well. I was 17 weeks 1 day, did the Anatomy Scan and found out they were boys and very healthy! I was measuring 22 weeks. Next appointment is with my OB on the 14th and MFM on the 15th.

We are expecting Twins, a girl and a boy.  Our due date is 12/29/12.

QOTD: I have nursery color ideas but am not sure if I'm going with a theme or not. Hopefully in about a month I'll know the sexes of the babies so I can start planning. If I have at least one girl I'm going to refinish my old white bedroom set from when I was about 3 years old. It is so sturdy, has many pieces, and is in really good shape. 

My last appointment was great. My NT scan results were as good as could be, I scheduled my c section for January 16, and my MFM plans to write me out of work when I'm 20 weeks.

QOTW: Our nursery will be grey, navy, and lime green. I'm not a big fan of themed bedding, but we plan to incorporate a science/robot theme through accents. The room is painted, furniture is all up, and bedding is ordered. 

My last appointment was at the MFM last week. Babies are right around 40% percentile for weight and my cervix is holding strong between 3.75 and 4.1 cm. Next MFM appointment is in two weeks. I have an OB appointment this week. We got the results of my 27 week bloodwork: No GD (YAY), but my iron is low and I am now on supplements. That explains a lot of my exhaustion and dizziness!! Hoping the iron levels rise ASAP.

How was your last appointment? It was ok.  I had my 2nd level II with the MFM and I was hoping to be released from her but I have to go back for yet another level II in a few weeks.

I'm still doing really well, thankfully. Sleeping is becoming a challenge, and I think my heartburn could possibly allow me to breathe fire, but I'm not swelling like I did with DS and I'm still working full time with no physical restrictions of any kind. Made it past the 32 week milestone, so I suppose my next goal is 36 weeks (holyshit that's in, like, 3 weeks).
Really hoping to make it to September and at least 37 weeks, though. Then babies can come anytime they want. Well, that's not entirely true, I'd love it if they could get their act together and plan their escape for anytime Monday through Friday-- just found out today that my OB is the only one in the practice who will perform a breech extraction, so if babies decide to come on a weekend that he isn't on call, guess who's getting an automatic C-section (unless Baby B decides that she'd finally like to be vertex, that is).
I'd really been hanging my hopes for a vaginal delivery on Baby A's continued vertex position and larger size, and now everything is up in the air again. I know this is all par for the course with multiples, but the overall uncertainty is starting to get to me (not enough that I'd say, "eff it, let's just schedule a C-section," but still).

Nursery isn't themed, but we're going with a fairly neutral aqua/taupe/silver color scheme since our boy/girl twins will be sharing the room.
My last appointment was this morning-- our first bi-weekly NST. Both babies did a great job staying on the monitors and had appropriate accelerations, and I only had a couple measurable contractions (that I couldn't even feel). Followed up that appt @ the MFM with one @ my OB's office-- my BP is still normal, I've gained 32.5 lbs, and my fundal height is measuring around 36w.

Update: I am doing okay, no more trips to L&D - thankfully!  Well, except for my scheduled NST - and everything with that was fine.  I will have NST's weekly on Fridays.  And I have my next OB appt. next Monday.  My next growth u/s will be the week on the 20th.  I was written off work though - so I will be filing for STD.  Since the school year officially starts back on 8/20 I will miss 3 weeks of work I wasn't planning to, but we will manage somehow.  

QOTW:  We are doing a nautical theme for the boys room.  It is painted, the cribs are up, the dresser is put together (we got it at Ikea), but we still need to get some shelves and do some decorating and move all of the boxes of diapers somewhere.  I am also still trying to figure out if there is a way to fit a glider/recliner in there b/c things are really tight.

We haven't done anything yet, mostly because I thought we were having 1 baby last week and we already had everything from our other 2 boys.  With our 1st, we didn't really do a theme except for some Pooh paintings.  We just had dark wood furniture, light blue walls and blue striped sheets.

My last appointment was an u/s and finding out we had twins.  We meet with a MFM (I think I'm using the right word) this week that my OB referred me too.

Unfortunately my cervix is starting to shorten.   Not critical yet, but my OB wants me to take it easier than I was when I thought I was taking it easy!  Basically I'm out of work and hanging around on my bed a lot.    Hey, whatever it takes for healthy babies!

It's not listed but I'm having two boys so little Bea and I are going to be totally outnumbered.

 

NURSERY THEME: our theme is our colors.   Navy blue walls, white furniture and bright neon accents (mainly orange, yellow and lime green).   Though you wouldn't know it by the looks of our plum guest room...

I woudn't say I have a theme, but mostly cars and animals. The walls are aqua blue, furniture is white, and then accents of oranges, reds, yellow, greys and blues.

Last appointment I had was a non-stress test and everything seems to be going well. I will be seeing my OB doctor tomorrow and can't wait, as she has been on vacation the last few weeks, and the other doctors I've seen aren't as helpful as she is. Will be finding out if they want to induce me or wait it out. My MFM wants me to have them the week of August 13th, but we'll see aht my doctor says.

 I ended up at the doctor yesterday because I was having some pain. Turns out we think I have a bladder infection. So I am on antibiotics and will get the actual results either today or tomorrow. Other than that everything seems good.

I don't really have a theme. For such a long time I loved owls but it seems to be so popular lately and I hate using things that seem really popular. However because I like them it seems like everything ends up steering towards that. So our mobiles have owls in them.

I made the bedding and one of the fabrics I used had owls in it but other than that really I am just trying to stick to keeping the colors in the same family. We are using some light pink, grey, teal and purple.

Update: I am 37wk1d today and feel like I am going to explode!  I have tried the normal to get things moving (sex, walking, nipple stimulation) and nothing seems to be working.

My last appt went well - both babies are still breech so we are still looking at a c-section.

QOTW:  We don't have a theme per se, but both crib bedding sets have monkeys on them.

We're team green and started out with just colors as our theme (aqua/cherry red/white) but now that has morphed into sort of an old-timey adventure theme with hot air balloons and maps, etc. We really love how it's turning out! 

 

Update: We went on our babymoon to Vegas which was a ton of fun. I was sick one day but for the rest did pretty well getting around and of course hanging out by the pool. My bump is ever expanding and I'm starting to get some more obvious/pronounced movement which is really exciting for me!

We are doing bright colors with splashes of Dr. Seuss.  As we are not sure if we are going to find out the sexes so we figured this will fit any combination.

Update:

We have our NT scan on Thursday.  Our last appointment was a bit rough as it was an end of day appointment and they tried to find the hb with doppler without success.  They did have me come back the next morning and both LO's look amazing and are measuring 2 days ahead.  I got to watch them squirm for the first time on the screen and they look more like little humans and less like gummy bears! We can't wait for Thursday!
