WTF?! Target diapers suck now!

Sorry if this has already been posted somewhere.  Target decided to change their diaper to a "new & improved" version.  Which just means less quality.  My daughter is in a size 5 diaper.  These new ones are so much smaller that I compared them to some leftover size 4 diapers & they are the same size as the old style size 4s!  Wow that is shady!  I measured the absorbant pad & the new style is 1/2" narrower & 1" shorter than the old style.  The ruffles are no where near as long.  The stars are cute but that's the only good thing I see.  The first one of these she wore she leaked out & she hasn't leaked out since 2 months ago when we had to bump her up to a size 5.  I'm changing diaper brands.  Now what diaper is closest in price to Target brand diapers?  Luvs or the Wal-Mart brand maybe?

I just bought a box, but I didn't notice a change in size or absorbency.  Maybe mine aren't the new kind?  J wears size four though.

I don't know what is comparable since we have been using these ever since J moved to size 2, but the other day I had to buy a package of Huggies Slip-ons because I couldn't get to a Target, and they were terrible.

I'd say luvs will be the most comparable price wise. We use huggies and I buy them at costco, both boys are in size 4's though so thats nice. Just one giant box a lasts all month

I liked Wal-Mart diapers, I thought they were similar to Target. I use Luvs now but they are a bit different than Target.

The new style has stars instead of circles for the polka-dots.

I use target/Walmart/luvs interchangeably. They're all within a few dollars of each other with luvs being about $4 more per box than wal mart brand.

We get Luvs from Amazon Mom and haven't had any issues with them. If we are in between shipments and need more to hold us over, I usually go for the Target brand. I haven't bought any in awhile, so I didn't know they had changed. That stinks!

I would look for a way to send in a customer complaint to Target so that they know.  Also, you should be able to take back the box you have been using.  I have done it before with wipes that caused a rash.

Luvs are cheap and pretty good quality. I really like them.

We got a pack of the new diapers when we went on vacation last month and I haven't noticed any difference between the stars and the polka dots. We're trying to get rid of them so we use them for overnights and she hasn't come close to leaking.

I actually like the new ones. They seem less bulky and softer. We haven't had any leakage problems (but he is going longer stretches with holding his bladder). Maybe you can buy up a size and see if they fit better?

I use Walmart brand. I don't know if you have a Costco near, but I got a sample of thise and love them and ifwe had a Costco here I'd use those. I don't know what the price difference is though.

I tried Target diapers a couple of months ago and hated them.  They got so bulky and gross.  We switched back to Pampers.  The Huggies and Luvs give DD a rash.

I called our local Target & explained everything to them & the person I was talking to said they couldn't do anything for me since the box was opened/I had used one diaper.  So I asked to talk to the manager & he said I could come in & exchange them for the next size up.  Well I got there & this store still had the old style, the polka-dots.  So I just got her regular size, 5.  idk, I might try the size 6s to see if they are big enough in the new style but that still won't change how much less ruffles there are & they might still be narrower.
