Pronounce this name..

So a friend of mine from HS had a baby this week and finally announced the name.
Xaya.
I can not figure out how to pronounce it, but I am leaning toward it sounding like Maya, maybe.

Personally I do not like it, but to each their own I guess.
How would you pronounce it?

    I would guess it would be pronounced like Zi-ya.

    I would pronounce it like maya but with a Z sound.. Like Zye-ah but that's just a guess!

    Maybe like a Spanish pronunciation.... Sha-ya? I know a few Spanish names that start with X but sound like a Sh

    You should probably ask the mom... I could see Zye-ah, Zai-ah, Kye-ah...  Hay-ya sound ridiculous to me, but that would be correct with a spanish "x".  Sha-ya would not be so bad.
