2nd Trimester

Energy

Hey girlies!

Hope you're all doing well!

These past few weeks have been super tiring. Between having a cold, working on my feet 40 hours a week (I work retail) and packing for our move (FRIDAY THE 10TH!) I am EXHAUSTED!!!!!

Everyone is noticing at work that I am not my normal, bubbly self. And I hate to say.... well I am pregnant and trying to move and work 40 hours! But I hate excuses and I don't want them to stop relying on me. I just got a great promotion and want to show that I can still do it!

So what do you do to keep up your energy or keep you from burning out halfway through the day? I start out great but get really drained by the time I leave. I get moody and by the time I'm home all I want to do is lay down and eat cookies and watch Mob Wives for 6 hours straight (no seriously....)

:) THANKS!!!!!!!

Re: Energy

  • I work 12 hr shifts so by the end of the day I'm pretty wiped.  I just make sure to have small snacks throughout the day and stay hydrated.  I take breaks and sit every once in a while too.

I'm still feeling pretty good compared to how I felt at the end of my 1st pregnancy so I'm doing as much as I can since I have 3 months left.  I don't use my pregnancy as an excuse not to do things and I actually think people try to do more for me because I don't complain and just do the work.  Although if I was legit hurting, I would def speak up.

I feel the same way. I probably do more than some of my girls who come in for 4 hour shifts.

I am trying to pack more fruit and eat peanut butter crackers throughout the day. Hopefully after the move things will calm down a bit.

I am for sure more sore this time around. I had A LOT of energy the first time around, and this time I get more pains in my hips and feel tired more easily.
