Glucose test

I am sitting here at the hospital for my glucose test. With DD it was only an hour test and they changed it this time around to two hours! I am only 20 minutes into it and am bored! At least the drink wasn't too bad!

I was bored with mine as well. I spent most of the time surfing via the iPhone, but that was only one hour. I have the three hour to do this coming week and I am going to have to bring a book. Good luck!

My doctor had scheduled my appointment in the same time frame so I got my blood drawn and drank the orange crap and had my appointment. I crocheted the last 20 minutes. It really wasn't too bad! I don't have to do the three hour though. My blood sugar was low.

I had mine yesterday.  Ran into an old HS friend who was waiting (FOREVER) for her name to be called so about an hour was catching up with her.... then i brought a bunch of thank you cards with me to write to peeps who have ALREADY sent me cute lil gifts for either me or the baby.  it wasn't  full 3 hours.. i was on the 2 hour test.. but all in all it took almost 3 ....

Are we supposed to get results at the time or does the dr usually call with those?

I was starving after my test so we went ot brekkie and I had huge pancakes... BIG MISTAKE... huge sugar crash later.....

I haven't heard anyone use this term for breakfast, except for my husband after he came back from his work travels to Australia.  It made me smile this morning!
