I LOVE it. I've only ever met one Claudia IRL - she's 6 years old now, and she is the sweetest little girl. She has a long story to go along with her, but suffice it to say that she and her family are very strong.
Claudia is a great name, even without my positive association.
It does, however, make me think of the Babysitter's Club book series!
Me too! I picture a wacky dresser who eats a ton of junk food and is a bad speller.
Haha me too. Although I haven't read those books in a long time, so meeting a little girl named Claudia would probably make me quickly forget that association. I think it's a good pick.

When I was younger and read every "Babysitters Club" book known to man I LOVED the name Claudia.
These days I am less enthusiastic, but I still really like it. I don't know any little Claudias so I think it is refreshing and cute.

I do like the name, just not the meaning. And unfortunately, I remember when I was little--I loved looking in baby name books to find out meanings of names, so I would rather a name that had a different meaning.
