DH just got the phone call ....
First of all - It's a Girl!!! And we were picked by the birth Mother and her mother!!!
Now the part that will make all of us want to vomit in our mouths. The Birth Mother is 16 and this is the second time she had sex (yes, please kill me now having to repeat this story) and the Birth Father wants to just get rid of it (Please let me kill him!). Next biggie here - he hasn't told his parents - they have no idea she is pregnant and due to give birth in a month or so. The lawyer said he doesn't need their approval but it makes me nervous because what if they find out and want the baby and then convince him that they should raise it.
I am so happy, scared, thrilled and shaking all at once. This is not how I pictured us having our first baby but honestly, I never pictured DH and I trying to make a baby the IVF way but we sure went that route. Our plan is to save up for another round of IVF so that we can add to our family. But for now - WE ARE HAVING (GETTING) A GIRL!!!!
